Child Friendly Dartmoor
Child Friendly Accommodation, Activities, Events and Attractions
Taking the children on holiday, finding somewhere child friendly to stay, activities that are suitable, attractions they will enjoy, these are all issues every parent faces.
So we have tried to make it easier by creating this special Child Friendly Dartmoor page!
Here you will find accommodation that welcomes children, either self catering or B&B where some of them have fantastic dedicated facilities, some are farms where the little ones can help collect eggs, pet baby animals and enjoy being hands on with animals they’d not normally come across.
There are child friendly hotels and even child friendly camping where baby sitting is on offer, experienced play leaders can amuse the kids in specialised areas, with organised games and lots of fun to help them run off their excess energy and make new friends.
We have Activity Providers who specialise in children’s activities, everything from archery, climbing, riding to gorge scrambling!
Not all events of attractions may necessarily be what small children enjoy, but here also, you will find those that are.
Don’t forget to have a look at our downloadable circular walks page, may of which are suitable for families with children.
We hope that you find this one-stop page for families with children very useful, and would welcome your feedback.
Above all we hope that your trip to Dartmoor is fun, enjoyable, fascinating and restful!
