AboutThe wonderful annual village fayre at Peter Tavy is a great afternoon out for all ages, held around the Village Hall and Methodist Chapel in the centre of the village on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th August 2019.
From 2.00pm onwards you'll find games, stalls, delicious home-made refreshments, demonstrations and displays of competition entries. In this 50th anniversary of the first moon landing, this year's fayre will have a "space" theme.
The "Dartmoor Teddy Bears' Dangerous Sports Association" retunrs for its 19th annual meeting, offering cuddly toys an opportunity to test their nerve. Last year, teddy bears were challenged to fly in a Lancaster aeroplane and drop a bouncing football into the back of a goal net – this we hope to offer an activity even more "out of this world"!
