About'We don't need to reconnect to nature, we are nature.' Discover wholeness and health as we lead you on a journey into the moor and the woods along the river to explore Autumn's edible offerings.
You will learn how to identify edible seasonal plants and leaves, seeds, flowers, and roots. And understand how to prepare them for cooking and eating or for potent medicines to nourish, strengthen or cleanse. We will bring something simple with us to share as a wild tea at lunchtime.
Level: Easy. The pace will be gentle with many stops along the way but you will need to be agile enough to walk over a few rocky sections, and cross a small stream.
What to bring/wear: Plenty of warm layers and waterproof jacket with trousers (whatever the weather forecast); waterproof boots (wellies or walking boots) so that we can cross a stream together; packed lunch and drink; and something to sit on.
Where to meet: Postbridge - exact location TBD, check event website link for the most up-to-date information.
Cancellation Policy: The walk will go ahead come rain or shine. If there are strong winds or storm warnings so that the conditions are dangerous or deeply unpleasant, then we may postpone to ensure the group's safety. Please keep an eye on your emails 12-24 hours pre-event for any notifications from us or through Eventbrite. Sorry no refunds unless event is postponed or cancelled.
Risk: No liability accepted for accidents or incidents.
