Map & Directions

Road Directions

From the A38

Leave the A38 at Peartree, Ashburton and follow the road towards Princetown/Two Bridges. This road takes you past the River Dart Country Park and over Holne Bridge and Newbridge (crossings over the River).

Shortly after Newbridge car park take the first right turning just before a sharp bend in the road. Take the next left turning signposted ‘Lowertown’. The road takes you up the hillside. Follow this road until you reach the small hamlet with two large stone barns either side of the road. You are now outside Lowertown Farm B&B.

The journey from Ashburton to Lowertown should take around 20–25 minutes due to our rural location.

From Widecombe

From the centre of Widecombe-in-the-Moor follow the signs to Ponsworthy. Drive straight through Ponsworthy over the narrow bridge and out the other side, then take the next left at the group of houses signposted towards ‘Lowertown’.

Follow this road until you reach the Hamlet with two large stone barns either side of the road. You are now outside Lowertown Farm B&B.

The journey from Widecombe to Lowertown should take around 15 minutes, please be aware that the lanes around us are rather narrow and the hills can be steep in areas, so please allow a bit longer for your journey if your not used to country driving.
