The Old Railway Cottage is one of four terraced cottages sitting just outside the village of Lydford and on the edge of the open access land of Dartmoor National Park.

The cottages were once rail workers cottages for the old Southern Railway line that runs from Okehampton to Plymouth and Launceston. The railway itself has been removed however the bridges and where the track used to run is still able to be seen, as well as the cottages that were home to the lines workers
Easily accessible but up a privet drive, the cottage sits is a quiet area of Dartmoor. There is a front porch for coats and muddy boots, a lovely lounge with a log burner and a fully equipped kitchen.
There is a seating area at the front and at the back of the cottage, each offering lovely views.
Upstairs to the front of the cottage is the master bedroom. This has a king size double bed. At the back of the cottage there is a single bedroom and the railway inspired bathroom.
The garden is detached from the cottage and is accesses by a short fenced walkway. There is garden furniture and a BBQ.
