Road Directions

Just 1 mile off the A30 east of Okehampton on the way to Cornwall, along the B3260 in the village of Sticklepath. Sticklepath is approximately 20 miles west of Exeter, 23 miles east of Launceston, 33 miles north of Plymouth, 30 miles south of Barnstaple in the stunning Dartmoor National Park. Public Transport Directions

There is stagecoach bus, route 6a Exeter to Bude service that stops in the village of Sticklepath near the Devonshire Inn. Bowden Hostas is just 100 yards west of the Devonshire Inn heading out towards Okehampton, entrance on the right hand side of the road

* Nursery open March to November 10am to 4pm weekdays and Saturdays. The gardens are open to the public from March to August weekdays and Saturdays, 10am to 4pm. Visits outside these times are possible, but please call us before making a special trip. Entry to garden is free and includes free tea or coffee. Special deals for groups and coach parties of 15 and more available.
