  • Families are in for a treat this October half term at Woodovis Park.

The independently owned holiday park has a range of luxury caravans and camping pods as well as an indoor heated pool and sauna, perfect for the cooler autumn weather.

Kids can try water walking in the pool (suitable for anyone aged five years upwards), archery with a trained instructor as well as have fun building dens in the woods.

Making the most of the darker evenings there are two free shows; a fire and light show performed on the Monday night and on Friday a superb story telling session with international storyteller David Heathfield.

On the Wednesday evening join in one of the new circus skills sessions, using some of the LED equipment used in the fire and light show, and don’t miss the delicious hog roast on Wednesday and Friday.

The nearby National Trust property of Cotehele is great for enjoying Autumn foliage as well as entertaining the kids with a self-guided Halloween tour with a spooky slant, not to mention the other great activities going on close by at Tamar Trails, Morwellham Quay and Lydford Gorge.
