Easton Court is an old thatched Devon country longhouse sitting in over an acre of gardens and offers guest accommodation in the old farmhouse, a self-contained guest wing, and an adjacent cottage. At peak holiday times the cottage can be booked for a self-catering holiday for weekly stays.
We have recently re-modelled our guest entrance to create a pleasant open courtyard to welcome you and for you to be able to sit in and enjoy the surroundings.
Easton Court is ideally located for easy access to myriad walks on Dartmoor, the Devon and Cornwall coasts and the local attractions.
The house has a strong literary history, and several renowned authors have stayed here, including Evelyn Waugh, who wrote Brideshead Revisited in the house.
The small stannary town of Chagford is one mile away providing a good selection of shops for you to browse in, plus a number of pubs and restaurants to choose from.
There are several walks you can take from the door along the Teign river valley and gorge to see the lovely countryside and variety of wildlife we have here.
