This semi-detached cottage has an inviting open plan sitting/dining-room which provides a wonderful setting for a cosy night in front of the glowing wood-burner, or the ideal space to play those much-loved family games. Nestled alongside the cottage in the main farmhouse is where you will find the very friendly Owners, who are always on hand to help you make the most of this beautiful area.
Located at the bottom of a privately owned lane, Drovers’ Cottage is a real escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, whilst being ideally located to offer you a range of activities in every direction. You really do have the best of both worlds! Within five minutes’ drive you have the renowned Tamar Trails which offer something for all the family (not forgetting your four-legged friend), you can go biking or walking along the 25 kilometres of trails enjoying the stunning scenery as you go. If a more relaxed day out is what you are looking for, the charming town of Tavistock with its daily Pannier Market is only five minutes away. This delightful town has an eclectic mix of shops and a selection of cafes and restaurants offering dining options to suit all tastes and budgets. Should you wish to venture further afield the stunning beaches of both north and south Devon and Cornwall are within easy reach.
